A three bedroom home designed for a soon-to-retire couple.

The house is formed to use the natural east to west slope of the site, with open-plan living areas, outdoor deck and garden given a fully northern aspect.

The brief called for separation of the owners’ own suite from the study and guest room zone.

The site’s southern boundary backs a pedestrian path and freeway, so lent itself to demarcation with double-brick walling, to create both a sight & noise barrier, as well as privacy screening.
