Brett and Anthea Ramsay established Ramsay Builders in 1999. We specialise in custom homes, offering comprehensive design and construct services in Melbourne’s inner east.

We pride ourselves in offering a personalised and tailored service, working closely with clients to bring their unique vision to life. Through consultations and collaborations with drafting contractors, engineers, surveyors and planning professionals, we are able develop and build exceptional homes that enhance each client’s lifestyle.

However, it’s not just design and construct that our expert team can assist with. If you’ve already worked with an architect and have existing plans, we can work from these, helping with the selection of fittings and fixtures to suit your personal taste and budget. We do this by introducing you to our professional colour consultants, plumbing fixture specialist, appliance consultant and electrical consultant.

If you are starting from scratch, we also have a trusted network of draftsmen and architects that can help create a unique design that exceeds expectations. In the case of sloping or challenging sites, we can combine our building expertise with our architects’ knowledge to address any potential problems, presenting innovative solutions along the way.

If you love where you live but your existing home requires an upgrade, Ramsay Builders can also assist with a demolish and rebuild service. We can help you build a brand-new custom home or townhouse development on your existing block, taking care of all the details, including site surveys and planning approvals.

Regardless of the brief, we endeavour to provide a smooth and seamless construction service. One of the ways we do this is through a project management system that allows the client to login and keep track of their project, with payment schedules, diary notes, a construction schedule and contract documents. This allows and encourages transparency between builder and client, resulting in a positive and long-lasting relationship.
