A spectacular Heritage renovation, Stonehaven created a respectful form to suit the heritage nature of the home with the addition maintaining clean and sophisticated architectural proportions to achieve an outstanding result.
All works were governed by the sensitive heritage nature of the building (over 100 years old). Elaborate decorative cornices, large profile skirtings and architraves complete with wainscott blocks, and feature doors, were recycled and reproduced where necessary.
It was critical that great attention to detail and the highest standard of workmanship was applied so it was not possible to distinguish between old and new. The triumph is not only the quality of finish and light explosion but the seamless integration of old and new, the harmony of integration. The house is now ready and equipped to span well into the future.
